A decisive win for Manchester United, one we rarely see, brought a big smile to the Red Devils’ supporters and proved that there is indeed still life in the Premier League champions.

A header by the returning Phil Jones put United on the lead in the first half and Wayne Rooney as well as Danny Welbeck put an end to Pepe Mel’s quest for his first win on the 65th and 82nd minute respectively.

That performance proved that there are a few things that David Moyes needs to look after ahead of next season.

1. Improve the young talent that will carry the team to the next era, such as Adnan Januzaj

2. Turn Wayne Rooney to a leading figure at Manchester United

3. Make quick transfers so they can adapt faster
