Bayern Munich midfielder is ready to complete a summer move to Manchester United, according to the Daily Mirror.
Kroos has reportedly told friends and teammates he is determined to make the switch to Old Trafford, despite reports that suggest Real Madrid are keen to sign the 24-year-old.
Midfielder Kroos – who is set to face United during the second leg of tomorrow’s Champions League quarter final – is said to be attracted by the lucrative contract offer, and the chance to be the main man.
David Moyes is said to be ready to offer a staggering £40million for a player who has just 12 months remaining on his current contract.
Bayern remain determined to keep hold of the German international, but that sort of figure may force them to sell.
Kroos has struggled to come to an agreement over a contract extension at the Allianz Arena, and could earn as much as £200k a week at Old Trafford.
Moyes sees the midfielder as integral to his summer rebuilding plans, and despite the fact United have endured a poor season and are likely to miss out on the Champions League, the money being offered should be enough to see Kroos sign.
