We have our first goal of the game at Goodison Park and it's come via a pretty reliable source this season - Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

In what's been a pretty average game otherwise, the Swedish summer signing was first to get to the ball ahead of the on rushing Maarten Stekelenburg and duly lobbed him.

It wasn't a forgone conclusion, though, as the ball hit both the crossbar and the post before just about crossing the line in time as Everton raced back to clear.

Referee Michael Oliver awarded the goal, allowing United to celebrate their first of the game and take the lead into half-time.

And, as the Red Devils look to build on that in the second half, plenty have taken to Twitter to discuss the latest goal in the illustrious career of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

He's edging nearer the double figures mark for this Premier League season already. Here are just some of the best reactions to the goal that almost wasn't.
