In the world of football, nothing ever stays the same. Players age, clubs decline and managers come and go. The beautiful game constantly moves forward, and unfortunately that means someone has to get left behind.

Newcastle are a club who've suffered problems to say the least this year. They're arguably suffering from second season syndrome after finishing way above expectations in fifth at the end of their 2011/2012 Premier League campaign.
