Newcastle defender Mathieu Debuchy hasn’t ruled out a summer switch to PSG, reports FourFourTwo.

The Frenchman has proved to be a decent signing for the Magpies since joining from Lille in January 2013, but speculation has grown that the full-back is looking to leave the Premier League in the summer. There have been rumours linking him with a move to Ligue 1 champions PSG, where he would team up with former teammate Yohan Cabaye.

The midfielder left St. James’ Park in January, but is expected to be tempting Debuchy to move to the Parc des Princes this summer. And whilst Debuchy claims he is focused on his time at Newcastle, he refused to rule out a move to the French capital:

“I’m still under contract with Newcastle and I am focused on the conclusion of the season and the World Cup,” said Debuchy.

“After that we do not know what the future holds. But PSG is immense. It is a great club, I think it would appeal to all players.”

The full-back is currently out of action with a groin injury, but claims he should be back playing in the black and white of Newcastle in two weekends’ time. But the defender may not have many future matches left in his Newcastle career, with a move back to France highly possible.
