Newcastle United quartet Ryan Taylor, James Perch, Sammy Ameobi and Haris Vuckic went head-to-head on FIFA 13 in the Newcastle FIFA Pro Player Challenge, but which of Alan Pardew’s men would come out on top?

Premier League footballers take FIFA 13 very seriously and the Newcastle United boys are no different, as all four took to the challenge, desperately wanting to win, with their competitive nature shining through.

This year’s challenge saw Newcastle utility man Ryan Taylor try and defend his title from 2012, but despite being on the treatment table and having more time to practice, he was up against some tough competition.

Taylor went up against another man ruled out for the season, Slovenian youngster Vuckic, in one semi-final, with Perchino, aka James Perch, and Sammy Ameobi in the other. The winners of each semi then met in the final to see who would be crowned Newcastle United’s king of FIFA.

While the competition was extremely hard-fought, there were also plenty of laughs along the way at Shearer's Bar at the home of Newcastle United - St James' Park, which is where the even took place earlier this year.

Take a look at the short video below to find out which Newcastle star won the accolade…
