Newcastle defender Mathieu Debuchy has hinted that he is unsure of his future on Tyneside.
The French full-back has been in excellent form since joining the Magpies from Lille in his homeland last year.
His fine displays have led to talk of a big move abroad, with the likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be watching his progress closely.
The latter in particular are said to be extremely interested, with speculation in France suggesting that the 28-year-old is one of their top targets for the summer.
When questioned on the link with the Ligue 1 champions, Debuchy refused to rule out the possibility:
“PSG? I am here until the end of the season and for next year, I do not know,” he is quoted by The Express.
If the switch were to occur, Debuchy would follow Yohan Cabaye to PSG.
The former St James’ Park hero completed a £19m transfer to the Parc des Prices last month, which came as a blow to the North East club.
Debuchy added fuel to talk of him joining the Parisians by saying that he has been in contact with his former team-mate:
“This is a great loss for us so obviously I was sad but I’m happy for him because PSG is a great club.
“I had the opportunity to talk a little with Yohan Cabaye and it is clear he is really happy there.”
