From his first day to his last, Joe Kinnear’s tenure as Newcastle United Director of Football appeared to be just one big joke.
His infamous interview where he mispronounced a number of Magpies players’ names, to when he claimed he could open the door for any manager in the world, were just a handul of the reasons why the 67-year-old became the laughing stock of football.
And after a disastrous two transfer windows, where he could only muster two loan signings at St. James’ Park, he leaves the club, sparking parties on the streets of Tyneside.
