Ngoy, who has represented his country at Under-16 level, had been the subject of much interest with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona all keen to add him to their ranks.
But it seems it is the Potters who will to seal the deal, offering terms after the player had a trial over the summer.
Speaking to The Sentinel, a representative of Ngoy’s agency Damien Francis said: “He’s started well so we’re just going to see how he progresses and gets on. For a 15-year-old he’s very talented. If he keeps his feet on the ground and works hard, the sky’s the limit for him.”
The paper reports that Francis claimed a deal had already been signed, but that this may in fact be a pending process.
The capture of Ngoy would be a further endorsement of the production line of Belgian talent that has emerged in recent years.
