The way Liverpool’s season has gone so far, most neutral fans would be pleased to watch them live on TV every single week.

Not only are they wonderfully free-scoring at the moment, they’re also leaking goals for fun, which makes games involving Brendan Rodgers’ side unmissable and brilliantly entertaining for Premier League fans in general.

But while Liverpool and Swansea were playing out a seven-goal thriller at Anfield this afternoon, Sky Sports subscribers were forced to watch a drab and uneventful match between Newcastle and Aston Villa at St. James’ Park.

    I assume Sky & BT have a commitment to all clubs & match selection is predetermined a couple of months in advance.

    You can’t predict the scores wks in adv so cant really fault Sky. However there should be a red button option to switch games!!
