At last!

We finally got goals in Super Sunday and they came via Charlie Austin, helping put Southampton 3-0 up against Burnley.

Since, Burnley grabbed one back but it has been the Austin show today.

In truth, the first was a scrappy goal for both the Saints to score and the Clarets to concede, but the former QPR man won't care one bit as he prodded home amongst the mess in the six-yard box.

Then, for the Saints' third after Nathan Redmond's goal, he stroked home with ease from the spot to put the club firmly in control of the game.

It was no less than Southampton deserved, too. The Saints had been knocking on the door for some time, particularly through Austin, and will have felt going in front against the visitors was justice served after dominating the first half.

The striker had already seen once chance sensationally turned away by Tom Heaton, but there was nothing the Burnley goalkeeper could do about these goals.

Fans far and wide on Twitter were certainly impressed with the in-form striker scoring once again. Here are some of the best reactions to the goals...
