Levante are ready to sell Costa Rican World Cup sensation Keylor Navas as Liverpool and Arsenal circle the goalkeeper, according to reports from The Mirror.

The 27-year-old stopper kept clean sheets against England, Italy and the Netherlands in Brazil, helping his nation to a historic quarter-final appearance – which they lost to the Oranje on penalties.

Both before and during the competition Navas has been linked with a move away from his current club, and it appears that his sale will be allowed to go through.

Levante are not willing to do a cut-price deal, but they won’t stand in his way if teams trigger his £8m release clause.

Liverpool and Arsenal are thought to be ready to move for his signature, as are Atletico Madrid, Porto and Bayern Munich.

The La Liga minnows are understood to have been buoyed by their star’s recent displays and are confident that he’s done enough to tempt some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Arsenal are looking to land a back-up man for Wojciech Szczesny, while Liverpool will look to get in a new stopper if Pepe Reina is sold.
