The Bosnia international refused to state his desire to leave the Britannia stadium, but did suggest he will be using the 2014 FIFA World Cup to showcase his ability to other clubs.
The 26-year-old has been linked with Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal during the last two transfer windows, but has remained a Stoke City player. But Begovic has admitted he is aware the World Cup could lead to a move elsewhere:
“I have a good relationship with the chairman and everyone else here. When there is something to discuss, we will sit down.
“It’s always been an honest relationship. He knows my ways and my ambitions and I know where he stands, so there are no secrets between us.
“We’ll see what happens. Of course the World Cup is going to be a global shop window so obviously it would be great to do well there both personally and for Bosnia.”
Bosnia have qualified for the World Cup in Rio after winning their qualifying group ahead of Greece, who must compete in the play-offs. Begovic has also had a strong start with Stoke City this season too, keeping three clean sheets in their first 8 matches.
