Two games, two goals, two wins and two clean sheets for Manchester United this season, it’s so far so good for Louis Van Gaal as he delights in his number twos. Aston Villa, on the other hand, can take heart from from their plucky performance.Wayne Rooney was absent from the scene and did nothing all night whilst Adnan Januzaj celebrated his coming-of-age start with a goal. Sort of. The deflection was pretty wicked.But this game was more of an ‘appetite whetter’, something to set us up for the fab Friday nights of football to come. From next season we’re going to have regular Premier League games on Friday nights, so we can all settle in the pub early, fight over the best table and relax with a beer in hand to watch the action and follow the lollage on twitter.
