Leicester continued their spirited start to their Premier League return with an encouraging 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the King Power Stadium.

Nigel Pearson's side frustrated the Gunners and were well deserving of their point and will feel they would have been worthy winners had they taken their chances in front of goal.

Arsene Wenger will be frustrated that his side have struggled to beat a side who, on paper, they should be beating comfortably - especially if he wants to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title this seasons.

Sanchez's first Premier League goal

Alexis Sanchez scored his first Arsenal goal earlier this week when he netted against Besiktas in the Champions League.

And today he opened his Premier League account with an easy finish that followed a weak effort on goal from Yaya Sanogo.

The Chilean looks to already be proving money well spent for Arsenal...

Leicester's immediate equaliser

Arsenal would have been expecting to build on their 1-0 lead, but Leicester pegged the Gunners back immediately. The Foxes' club record signing rose highest to head in past Szczesny to level the game just two minutes after Alexis Sanchez fired the Gunners ahead...

Leicester's first-half performance

Leicester were expected to be one of the Premier League's whipping boys this season, but Nigel Pearson has got them playing some good football.

On the back of two encouraging performances against Everton and Chelsea, the Foxes were impressive in the opening 45 minutes against Arsenal.

They responded brilliantly after one nil down to level things up through Ulloa, and would not have been out of place had they gone in at the break in the lead...
