Manchester United play hosts to Tottenham this weekend - in Football FanCast's Fixture in Focus - hoping to finally end their disastrous home form that has seen them record just one victory at Old Trafford since August.

The Red Devils have outplayed their opponents recently but been unable to overcome the in-form goalkeepers that Premier League teams conjure up on a weekly basis.

This week's opponents Tottenham have seemingly turned a corner, having beaten Swansea 5-0 at White Hart Lane last weekend. The result was the Lilywhites' first league victory since October 2nd, but Mauricio Pochettino will be hopeful his side can also secure an away win this weekend.

Where will this heavyweight clash be won and lost? Both teams are considered title challengers by many, albeit currently on the fringes of the race for the crown. Football Fancast have identified three key battles that could be deciding factor in the outcome of the game.

Hugo Lloris vs David De Gea

Most managers, supporters, and experts would agree that these two are the best two goalkeepers in the Premier League.

Both shot-stoppers are expected to be busy and whoever can produce the best performance is likely to see his side leave Old Trafford on the winning side.

Big saves, controlling their respective defence, along with ensuring mistakes are kept to a minimum are the credentials required to overcome each other.

Harry Kane vs Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The importance of Harry Kane to this Tottenham side cannot be overstated. His return to fitness has transformed Spurs' performance levels, and they already look a better side now than at any stage over the two months in his absence.

On the contrary, Ibrahimovic has been in good form lately but looks a million miles off his domineering displays for Paris Saint-Germain.

Goals decide games and these two have produced a combined 15 in the Premier League already this season.

Moussa Dembele vs Paul Pogba

This will be the two rhinos locking horns in an attempt to overcome each other's physical prowess. Dembele's recent run of form has been more than impressive as his partnership with Victor Wanyama continues to blossom.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba doesn't look like the lost cause he portrayed at the beginning of the season - but the jury is still out on whether he can guide United to long-term success.

Whoever can out-muscle and outmanoeuvre the other likely to dominate and control the midfield battle.
