Chelsea need to prove a point this weekend.

The early fixtures of this season suggested the Blues were back to their best, or getting near to it at least. They were finding ways to beat sides, Antonio Conte was making all the right substitutions and their key players were performing.

Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, in particular, had been looking good. Costa was back to creating headlines for good and bad reasons whilst the Belgian, Hazard, was finding the net and causing chaos.

That all came to a shuddering halt last week, though. Chelsea got overawed by Liverpool last Friday in a game that left the Blues fans concerned the form of 2015/16 was coming back.

The club need to allay those fears quickly and so what better way to do it than a win against Arsenal this Saturday? We think they've got a real chance of doing so if they do these three things...

Play Cesc Fabregas

Antonio Conte hasn't done a lot wrong so far in his time at Chelsea but you've got to wonder what he's seeing Nemanja Matic do to keep Cesc Fabregas out of the side.

The Spaniard is far better suited to the 4-1-4-1 the club are playing at the moment and after two match winning goals in the EFL Cup this week, he has to play. Over to you, Antonio.

Be physical

Diego Costa

We've seen innumerable times that when the going gets tough, Arsenal fold like a cheap suit and few are better placed to rub them up the wrong way than Chelsea.

The Blues and their players have a knack of getting under Arsenal's skin and with Diego Costa surely going to perform better than he did against Liverpool, we could see another classic, bruising performance from the striker, leading his team to victory.

Cut off Mesut Ozil

We're looking at you, N'golo Kante. Arsenal's attacks are more than likely going to come through the German in the space between Chelsea's midfield and defence and so naturally Kante has to be the one to stop that happening.

Kante lost to Arsenal twice last season; he'll want to make it third time lucky at the Emirates with his new club.
