Newly appointed Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has his eyes set on signing Lille striker Divock Origi, according to the Express.

The 19-year-old Belgian striker is currently playing for the Belgium national team at the World Cup, where he scored the eventual winner late in their second group stage match against Russia after coming off the bench.

Origi has struggled since joining Lille  in 2012, netting just two goals in 26 matches. But Sunday’s late winner showcased Origi’s enormous potential and, at £6m, would come at a relatively cheap investment for Spurs that could quickly turn into something worth much more.

Pochettino’s interest in Origi comes on the heels of his reported interest in Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, another Belgian striker that could be looking to move elsewhere.

Lukaku has spent the last two seasons on loan from Stamford Bridge, most recently with Everton, where he netted 15 goals in 31 matches.
