One of the biggest names in the world completed his move to Zenit St Petersburg yesterday – Bart Simpson
Bartholomew Jo Jo Simpson, also known as ‘Bart’, signed on deadline day after successfully passing his medical, despite his skin being a shade of yellow.
He was invited to a training session straight away by former Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas to get to know his new team mates.
A statement on the club’s official website read: “FC Zenit and the 20th Century Fox have reached an agreement about Bart Simpson’s transfer to the Blue-White-Sky Blues!”

Bart had been a part of the 20th Century Fox team since 1987 and because of this, he decided to take the 87 shirt at his new club.
The controversial youngster has won several awards while with his previous side including 31 Primetime Emmys, 30 Annie Awards and a Peabody Award.
The rest of the Simpsons family team will not be relocating to St Petersburg due to their commitments in their home town of Springfield.
It appears as though football runs in the Simpsons family as Bart’s sister Lisa has demonstrated her football skills in the past in the episode ‘Marge Gamer’.
It was later revealed Bart will only be part of the mascot team at Zenit, much to the disappointment of their fans.
