Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Leandro Damiao is expecting offers this month according to his agent.

Damiao has been on Andre Villas-Boas’ radar for a few years now and the Internacional striker could be keen on a move to White Hart Lane.

Spurs will have plenty of competition for the Brazilian however with AC Milan, Real Madrid and Chelsea all linked with the player in recent weeks.

The 23-year-old will cost upwards of £12million but after already scoring twice for Brazil along with 74 times in 129 games for his club, it may well be worth taking the plunge this month.

Arsenal were keen on the striker this time last year but have since signed two attackers, leaving the door open for Villas Boas and Spurs to sign him.

Damiao’s agent Vinicius Prates has not ruled out the chance of his player moving to London but he expects plenty of offers from all over Europe.

"European clubs are paying attention,” he told Zero Hora according to Sky Sports.

"I think a big European club will come. But, on the other hand, in January - their winter, our summer - the clubs don't invest much. The big signings are made in the mid-year window, in August.

"While Leandro Damiao stays at Internacional, Tottenham will always be interested.

"Andre Villas-Boas has liked him since he was Chelsea's  manager."
