The race  to sign Sevilla prodigy Alberto Moreno is hotting up, with the Daily Mail reporting Tottenham are planning a £14million bid for the 21 year-old.

After claiming the Europa League title with Los Palanganos this season, the Spaniard has emerged as a priority target for several Premier League sides, including Liverpool and Chelsea. But with Spurs in desperate need of a new left-back, they’re now keen to get in on the transfer action too.

But as the Lilywhites welcome a new manager in Mauricio Pochettino to White Hart Lane this summer, it’s unlikely Moreno will be Tottenham’s only major acquisition in the coming transfer window.

With that in mind, here’s a list of SIX Spurs targets who could follow the Sevilla hotshot to North London this summer, some inspired by his arrival, others more coincidental.

Players proven in PL would be nice. The signing of an unproven manager is enough of a gamble for 1 season.

Danny Rose and Kyle Naughton have plenty of PL experience. Worst gamble that cost two managers their jobs.
