Edin Dzeko isn’t guaranteed a regular role at Manchester City with the side having to please the likes of Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, as well as Stevan Jovetic, all of whom are battling for the striker’s role. The Bosnia and Herzegovina forward is a strong finisher who also has a powerful header amongst his artillery. A switch to Tottenham could be a possible fix to their recent scoring drought up top.
The 28-year-old managed to bag 26 goals and provide 16 assist in 48 appearances but is often used as a substitute or deployed when star forward Aguero is injured. Mauricio Pochettino should keep the likes of Dzeko in mind should he decide to sell the misfiring Roberto Soldado. He will however need to come up with about £21 million if he wishes to bring the player to White Hart Lane.
