Tottenham are hopeful of completing a quick deal for the ‘new Luka Modric’ – Nikola Vlasic of Hajduk Split, according to MirrorFootball.
The 16-year-old attacking midfielder is already a first team regular for Hajduk and scored in a Europa League qualifier last week.
And Vlasic has been watched by several of Europe’s elite clubs in recent months, with Chelsea and Real Madrid throught to be the most keen on his signature.
Hajduk value the youngster at just £6million, but it is believed Tottenham are hopeful of agreeing a fee of around £3m very quickly before a bigger club enters the race.
Spurs will no doubt be looking back at how much profit they made from selling the real Luka Modric to Real Madrid two years ago.
Meanwhile, Swansea’s Michel Vorm has agreed personal terms with Spurs ahead of a move that could involve Ben Davies joining him at White Hart Lane, while Gylfi Sigurdsson is expected to go the other way.
