Tottenham midfielder Sandro admits he hopes Tim Sherwood leaves the club in the summer for the sake of his White Hart Lane career, according to ITV.

The 25-year-old has struggled to hold down a first-team place this season, as well as suffering with a problematic calf injury.

But now that he is fit and ready, he is hoping there is a lot of change at the club in the summer in order for him to reignite his Spurs career.

He said: “He [Sherwood] will leave at the end of the season.

“Then, new coach, new everything.”

And he has also reacted to recent rumours linking him with a move away from the club, and he admits he would entertain a move but only if it was a permanent deal.

“I do not know anything yet, but I’m happy to have my name talked about with a club the size of Sao Paulo,” he admitted.

“It would be very difficult to leave on loan. If I leave, I would have to be sold, and it’s not close. Other teams have come, but with little money.”
