Tottenham are plotting an end of season swoop for Crystal Palace’s Tom Ince, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The England U-21 star is currently on loan at Selhurst Park from Blackpool, but with his current contract due to expire in under six months’ time he is available to complete a free move to a Premier League side this summer.

Spurs were linked with the son of former Liverpool, Manchester United and England midfield general Paul Ince last year, and have kept an eye on his development since.

There were initial doubts surrounding whether or not the youngster was ready for the top tier, but it is thought that the White Hart Lane club are now convinced since watching him in the Eagles’ starting XI.

Ince is thought to be willing to make a gradual move to the big time, but the appeal of representing a top side in the capital may be too good to turn down.

It’s likely that a number of other clubs will be interested in the skilful winger this summer, including Liverpool – who he spent some time with earlier in his career.
