Tottenham could look to move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez if they lose Hugo Lloris this summer, according to reports from talkSPORT.

Spurs look set for a battle to keep their French stopper if they miss out on Champions League qualification, with the player himself having hinted that he may be forced to move on to play top level European football.

This has alerted the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco, both of whom have the financial muscle and ambition to appeal to Lloris.

With the glovesman a key member of Tottenham’s first-team, the Londoners are believed to be plotting for his possible exit by lining up replacements.

Lopez is seen as a top target, with the Real ace having been impressive in recent times.

The experienced ‘keeper dislodged Iker Casillas last season, and has since kept the Bernabeu captain out of the first XI with a series of remarkable displays.

The 32-year-old is however aware that a dip in form could see him axed, which Spurs could use to lure him to White Hart Lane with the promise of guaranteed action.

AC Milan are also keen, and could mount a rival offer when the transfer window re-opens.
