Andre Villas-Boas has put Leandro Damiao at the top of his list again as he makes a second attempt to sign the striker in the summer.

The Spurs boss wants to make a few changes to his squad this summer and will be looking to sign new strikers, according to The Standard.

Tottenham have had a long-term interest in 23-year-old Damiao and despite trying to sign him three times, they failed to reach a deal with the player. They also face competition from Italian club Napoli who are also interested in the Internacional star.

AVB is also interested in signing Portugal forward Eder, who currently plays for Braga. They have worked together before when AVB managed Academica in 2009.

Emmanuel Adebayor will be leaving in the summer as the club confirm that they will be open to offers for the striker. He joined last season on a £5million deal from Premier League rivals Manchester City but he hasn't had the best of starts at the club scoring just 3 times in 22 appearances.

Adebayor is currently one of the highest paid players at Spurs and gets around £100k a week. He also has a clause in his 4-year deal  which means his wages will rise after the second season.

He started the season late due to injury and then got sent of in the North London derby with Arsenal which resulted in a three match ban, he then chose to go to the African Cup of Nations last minute - something which didn't sit well with the hierarchy at White Hart Lane.
