Tottenham are keen to replace Hugo Lloris with Chelsea’s Petr Cech this summer, according to reports from The Mirror.

Spurs are resigned to the fact that they may be unable to keep their current number one this summer, with missing ot on Champions League qualification likely to cost them their stopper.

Lloris has already stated a desire to play top level European football, and after two seasons of missing out at White Hart Lane a move back to his homeland appeals to the Les Bleus captain.

Both PSG and Monaco are keen, and with the money they can offer a deal is liable to be reached.

As a result Spurs are lining up replacements, with Cech a shock target.

The north Londoners are confident that the Czech Republic international could be lured across the city from Stamford Bridge, with Atletico Madrid’s Champions League Final glovesman Thibaut Courtois set to return to the club from his three-season-long loan stint.

Cech, 32, is thought to be settled in English football, and may well prefer to stay despite likely offers from some of Europe’s big hitters if he indicates a willingness to move on.
