The Spurs star only signed for the London club in 2012, and enjoyed a fantastic debut season in which he was named in the PFA Team of the Year.

The classy centre-back is not the only Spurs player to be angling for a switch away if Champions League qualification is not secured.
Hugo Lloris is also believed to be considering his options, with the French goalkeeper wanted by Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.
