Christian Eriksen has plunged his spell at Tottenham into doubt after revealing that he has a “secret plan” for his future.
The Dane arrived at White Hart Lane last summer as a part of Spurs’ much-criticised £110m spend, and has been, arguably, their best piece of post-Gareth Bale business.
After initially finding the adaptation to Premier League football problematic, Eriksen has now developed into the club’s key midfield man, with his goal tally at 10 following a late equaliser against West Brom.
The 22-year-old has already stated that he is enjoying life in north London, but now he’s placed his time as a Tottenham player in doubt by hinting that he already thinking about his next move:
“I’m incredibly happy that they seem happy with me.” He is quoted by the Daily Star.
“I am very glad that they like what they see.
“Of course I have a dream and a secret plan in my head. But I keep it to myself. Right now I live in the moment and enjoy the success I have.”
Eriksen has long been tipped for the very top since breaking into the Ajax first-team as a youngster.
His silky passing style has also led to comparisons with Danish footballing icon Michael Laudrup.
