The agent of Tottenham midfielder Sandro has hinted that the recent disruption surrounding his client may lead to more interest in the coming transfer window.
The Brazilian midfielder was the centre of some controversy when he declared himself to be fit to play on Twitter despite knowing that he was not set to be selected by Tim Sherwood for the Fulham game last weekend.
After the match the Spurs chief then stated that he did not believe the Brazilian to be currently playing at the required level to be in his XI in a puzzling incident.
Sandro has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane over the course of the past few months, and his agent, Luiz Paolo Chignali, feels that recent disruption may lead to added interest in his client:
“Sandro came back very well this year and how many teams are revamping their rosters for next season?” He is quoted by the Daily Star.
“Who knows? There might be some official interest from clubs, but you can only tell that at the end of the season and the beginning of the window.
“He is a high-level player, adapted to European football and is now creating interest in the market.
“Surely he will continue doing a good job no matter what club he is at.”
Sandro has been tentatively linked with Arsenal and Liverpool as well as a host of top clubs in Italy.
