Tottenham target Esteban Cambiasso says that he has several offers available from big European clubs.
The 33-year-old Argentine is set to be released by Inter Milan after 10 years at the San Siro.
Cambiasso will officially be a free agent next week, but he is able to speak to other clubs to thrash out a contract, with Spurs rumoured to be one of the interested parties.
New Lilywhites coach Mauricio Pochettino is said to be looking to draft in an experienced midfielder to boost his team’s chances of finishing in the top four, and he’s thought to be attracted to his compatriot’s know-how.
Although he didn’t name any sides chasing his services, Cambiasso revealed that a number of clubs are negotiating with his representatives:
“My career for the time being is still in Europe,” he is quoted by the Daily Mail.
“I have several proposals from big clubs but as a sign of respect for them I will not reveal the negotiations that my father and my brother are undertaking.”
The veteran playmaker has previously played for Real Madrid and is famous for his fantastic goal for Argentina during the 2006 World Cup.
