With Manchester City kicking off their Premier League title defence at St James’ Park this afternoon, all eyes were meant to be on Manuel Pellegrini’s side. However, it was one of Newcastle United’s debutants who stole the show in the first-half but not in a way you’d imagine.
Remy Cabella, who joined the Magpies this summer from Ligue 1 side Montpellier, was the talk of Twitter over his rather unique hairstyle.
It must be said, you’ve got to be pretty confident to pull off such an outlandish haircut and it appears that the 24-year-old is just that after he attempted an audacious chipped effort from outside the area early on.
Apart from THAT awful hair piece, Cabella looks the part. pic.twitter.com/AyrQS3tVhw

#mcfcvnufc Cabella's hair looks like someone's half way through a Brazilian wax when the fire alarm goes off.
