Aaaaaaaaand breathe… Another Premier League weekend is over, and it’s fair to say that it was a rollercoaster yet again.

The big games are simply unrelenting at the moment, and one of the most meaningful came last thing on Sunday as Manchester United and Liverpool played out a pulsating 1-1 at Old Trafford. The match was set up to be the Paul #Pogba show given the rampant marketing initiative between the midfielder and his sponsors, but the emoji and hashtag were overshadowed by a pretty bleak showing from the world-record man. The Red Devils made it a draw on the day as Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted a late equaliser, but the visitors probably deserved all three points after a gutsy performance in which they led for a long time via a James Milner penalty…. given away by #Pogba.

Just hours before, Pep Guardiola had been dealt a massive blow in the form of a 4-0 loss at Everton. The defeat was the heaviest in league action of the Spaniard’s glittering managerial career and really exposed all the weaknesses we all knew were there in his Citizens team. Before we move on, a shout-out must go to 18-year-old Tom Davies, who was excellent in the middle of the park for the Toffees.

Elsewhere, Diego Costa sat out of Chelsea’s drubbing of Leicester as the saga surrounding his future rumbles on, but Antonio Conte was more worried about the sweet treats than his not-so-sweet forward after the match. Talking of bitterness, Alexis Sanchez looked pretty unhappy too when he was subbed off as his Arsenal team battered lowly Swansea, while on the other half of north London, Harry Kane capped a fine week for himself with a hat-trick.

As ever, we have @RyanJayBailey in the house for his take on proceedings. Enjoy!
