The Express are reporting that David Moyes will offer Javier Hernandez in exchange for English winger Aaron Lennon. Spurs are already keen on signing Hernandez, and United are ready to ask for Lennon instead of cash.
Hernandez is expected to put in a transfer request this summer, after getting even more frustrated at his lack of game time. The Mexican, who came off the bench to score on the weekend, has only started 4 matches this season, and has been shut out of the first team when Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck have all been fit.
With his playing time not changing since Sir Alex Ferguson left Old Trafford, Hernandez could find himself leaving the current Champions, with Spurs extremely interested in the 25-year-old. But Tottenham will have to let go of Aaron Lennon, who has emerged as a surprise target for United.
The Englishman has failed to impress Tim Sherwood, and has often found himself on the bench at White Hart Lane behind Chadli, Eriksen and Townsend. But despite having a rumoured transfer kitty of £300million, Moyes has decided to look at the Premier League-experienced Lennon. A swap deal could take place this summer, as Moyes looks to build his new United squad ahead of his second campaign as manager.
