According to London 24, the Argentine is heading for the Mestala exit door after a fall out with the club’s coaching staff, which resulted in him spending the second half of last season on loan at Newell’s Old Boys.
But his UK representative has hinted at a move to the Premier League, with at least two clubs showing an interest in the £10million-rated midfielder.
He said: “We have had immense interest in the Argentinian international.
“I can confirm I’m personally speaking to two top clubs who have expressed real intent in capturing the player.
He is a top quality player and he is still only 25 and I believe he would be a major success in the Premier League.”
Both Arsenal and West Ham have been long-term admirers of the £10million-rated Argentina international, while Everton are also thought to be interested in his services.
