West Ham and Hull City are amongst the clubs keen to sign Sunderland ace Emanuele Giaccherini, with the Black Cats looking increasingly likely to suffer relegation this season, according to talkSPORT.
Sunderland completed a deal to bring the Italian international over from Juventus last summer, but he is unlikely to stay with the club in the Championship.
Despite initially featuring prominently at the Stadium of Light, the arrival of Gus Poyet has seen his first team opportunities limited.
However, West Ham and Hull City are willing to offer the Italian a Premier League lifeline at the end of the season.
Sources in Italy claim the 27-year-old is looking for a way out of the club at the end of the season, and a trio of clubs are chasing his signature.
The Premier League duo are set to face a fight with Genoa for his signature, with the Serie A club willing to offer Giaccherini a return to his homeland.
Sunderland are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, seven points adrift of safety with seven games to play.
