If reports are to be believed, Carlos Bacca is set to become the latest West Ham signing over the next few days, with personal terms between player and club the only obstacle remaining.

Bacca has been a long term West Ham target, and alongside previous signings including in particular the loan move for Gokhan Tore; Slaven Bilic is building quite the squad at West Ham.

After an impressive campaign last season, Bilic will no doubt be looking to improve further, and with what seems like a large transfer fund available; we could yet see some new signings make their way to the Olympic Stadium in the next few weeks.

Her are FIVE other players that could follow Carlos Bacca to West Ham...

Christian Benteke

Belgian Benteke to the Liberty?

Whilst Carlos Bacca seems set to sign for the club, he seemingly isn’t the only forward that West Ham want to capture this summer.

The club have been linked with a host of strikers this summer, and over the last couple of weeks Christian Benteke has emerged as a real target for the club; as they look to beat Crystal Palace to the signing of the Liverpool man.

Despite a poor season last year with Liverpool, Benteke proved his quality whilst he was at Aston Villa; and Bilic could be the man to turn his career around.

The Sun are running with this rumour, and suggest that West Ham have been tracking him for some weeks, and as a result WILL attempt to hijack the move away from Crystal Palace.

Jonathan Calleri

Another striker that West Ham are reportedly in for is Jonathan Calleri, with reports over the last few days suggesting that a deal for the Argentine forward was close to completion.

The Sun again are running with this story, and are suggesting that West Ham have beaten a host of clubs to land the signature of Calleri.

It remains to be seen whether the club will capture all three forwards; but the interest for the trio is definitely concrete.

Robbie Brady

Robbie Brady

Another player linked with the club is Robbie Brady.

Currently plying his trade with Norwich, Brady suffered a second successive relegation with the club last season, and may well be looking to leave the club and get back into the Premier League.

The Express are reporting that West Ham are readying a £12million bid for the midfielder, as they look to bulk out their squad going forward.

A familiar name in England, unlike many of these targets Brady is ready-built for the Premier League, and will immediately be able to provide as West Ham seek to jump up the table.

Ben Yedder

Wissam Ben Yedder

Yet another striker now, with The Guardian suggesting that West Ham are close to wrapping up a deal for Toulouse striker Ben Yedder.

The club will have to compete with Leicester to sign the French forward, but he is thought to be available for around £8 million.

Interestingly The Guardian add that the deal is set to occur despite the impending deal for Calleri too; suggesting that the club ARE keen to bring in a host of new attacking options this summer, rather than sticking with just the one new forward.

Interesting times for the West Ham strike force; it remains to be seen which players will definitely sign.

Matthias Ginter

Ginter the Gooner

Another potential target that West Ham have reportedly moved for is Matthias Ginter, in what would be described as a real coup for the club if he does make his way to London.

The Essex Chronicle suggest that the club have lodged a lucrative £12 million offer for the defender, with the side keen to wrap the deal up.

He had previously been a target of Arsenal, and whilst reports continue to come in on that deal – West Ham may well look to hijack the move.

And what a move it would be for The Hammers.
