Now EURO 2016 is over all eyes are on the new domestic campaign on the horizon.

The Premier League is just under five weeks away from starting and pre-season friendlies are well under-way as teams assess where the fitness of their players is.

Fitness could be a key factor in the fortunes of West Ham United this season as, if the club reach the group stages of the Europa League, they will be set for one of the longest seasons of all.

The east Londoners are currently in the United States preparing for their Europa League qualifiers as well as the new Premier League campaign and manager Slaven Bilic is bound to be looking for the next inspired deal, following the capture of Dimitri Payet, to help bolster his side.

The Hammers are entering a new chapter with games being played at the Olympic Stadium for the first time and with the prospect of European football, the club are an attractive proposition for new players.

Bilic has a big task ahead of him if he wants to balance this whilst improving on their seventh place finish last time out but with a few additions there's no reason why the Croatian can't do so and we at Football FanCast think this SIX will ensure a top six finish this season coming...

The Frenchman is far too good to be in the Championship next season with Newcastle and his performances for France in the European Championships highlighted this.

Magpies fans must be annoyed he didn't produce such levels at St James' Park but at West Ham the midfielder would surely put in a strong performance far more often.

He'd be much happier playing in Europe and at having the prospect of playing with Payet and as we've seen, when Sissoko is happy he's a very good player indeed.

Kamil Glik

With James Tomkins leaving the club for Crystal Palace the club should be in the market for a new centre-half.

Glik was one of the stars of EURO 2016 for Poland with his no nonsense defending and this would surely make him a hit in the Premier League.

Playing for Monaco means he also has solid European club level experience and this will be vital in West Ham's Europa League campaign.

Cedric Soares

Whether you think Portgual deserved the EURO 2016 title or not, you can't deny that defensively they were very good.

Their two full backs particularly impressed with their attacking attributes as well as their defensive game and this would boost West Ham's team.

Cedric would be the ideal right-back for the Hammers, if they can get him off of Southampton, flourishing under Slaven Bilic, in a position they need to strengthen.

Roberto Pereyra

Pereyra has been linked with West Ham this Summer and the club could benefit from the wealth of players that his current club, Juventus, have in his position.

Pereyra has to compete with the likes of Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio for a starting spot - no mean feat - and would surely jump at the chance to play regularly in the Premier League.

He's a clever player and would add an extra creative threat to the Hammers midfield.

Carlos Bacca

The Daily Express are reporting that this deal could be completed this week.

Bacca was one of the few shining lights in a difficult Serie A season for AC Milan last year and must want the chance at better success in his last few years at the top.

West Ham need extra forwards to support Andy Carroll and give the club regular goals and the Colombian would be the ideal man to do this.

Mauro Icardi

Inter Milan v Celtic - UEFA Europa League Second Round Second Leg

Icardi is the kind of player the Hammers need to target to match where they seem to be going.

The Inter Milan forward is on a trajectory to be one of Europe's finest strikers in a few years and whilst he's bound to have a number of suitors interested in securing his signature you can't overlook Bilic's ability to attract players.

West Ham have the financial clout to bring in Icardi and the fans would love him.
