Despite Europa League football now out of the question for West Ham, the club still needs to be looking at ways of strengthening the side as much as possible before the closing of the Summer transfer window, especially if they are to ensure they don't suffer the same fate in domestic competitions.

However, there should still be no issue trying to attract new players. The club has a brand new stadium to show off and with stars like Dimitri Payet plenty of recruitments are going to be interested in signing.

Their Croatian manager has already been busy in the market but with time left in this window, it'll be a shock if there's no more incomings.

We certainly think there's more to come from West Ham this summer and reckon these THREE strikers should be of real interest to the men in claret and blue...

Simone Zaza

Simone Zaza

The man with the ridiculous penalty run - up at Euro 2016. He may not have done himself many favours with the Italian fans after that showing but Zaza clearly has some talent given the fact he is on Juventus' books.

How long he stays in Turin is up for debate though especially with Gonzalo Higuain's arrival, and Slaven Bilic has already admitted a deal for the Italian is very close to being completed.

Wilfried Bony

Wil the Hammers get their man?

West Ham like to have a powerful forward up top and look a much more threatening side when Andy Carroll is there to bully defenders.

This occurs far too infrequently for the liking of Hammers fans though and so it would make sense for the club to look for a more reliable powerhouse.

Bony could be ideal, he has Premier League quality and would surely jump at leaving Manchester City.

Mario Mandzukic

Mario Mandzukic

The Croatian is similar to Andy Carroll in build but is a better player and has less fitness doubts too.

It would be a real statement concerning West Ham's ambitions if they could get a man who's played for Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus in, especially as they aim to crack Europe.

Any move may just be helped by the Hammers' manager Slaven Bilic as he comes from the same country as the target man.
