West Ham fans have been rather deprived of attacking spark for some time. But that could all be about to change courtesy of a magical little Argentine.
Mauro Zarate has always been a talent, and he really announced himself this afternoon with a terrific volley against Crystal Palace. The South American showed the flair some thought may be drummed out of him by Sam Allardyce to notch his first Hammers goal, and has looked every bit the part in the claret shirt.
Di Canio, Tevez, Zarate? Has a new hero been born?
