Inter Milan have offered West Ham the chance to sign midfielder Saphir Taider, according to MailOnline.
The 22-year-old starred for Algeria at this summer’s World Cup but is out-of-favour at the San Siro as the Italian giants look to rebuild their squad following a disappointing season last term.
It is believed Taider would be available for around £4million, but West Ham are thought to be only interested in a loan deal at this time.
The Hammers have been busy this summer, bringing in five new faces already, with Anderlecht’s Cheikhou Kouyate and Pachuca’s Enner Valencia costing around £22m combined.
And with the club also closing in on at least two other signings, it’s still unclear whether they will entertain Inter’s demands for Taider.
Meanwhile, it is being reported this morning that Sam Allardyce is exploring a shock double swoop for Manchester United duo Wilfried Zaha and Ashley Young.
