Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony’s agent has confirmed the player is set for a summer move to Italy, according to talkSPORT.
The Ivory Coast international has scored a superb 33 goals in 55 games for the Dutch club since his arrival and is beginning to attract attention from major European clubs.
West Ham made their interest clear in January but Liverpool and Newcastle have since joined the race for his signature along with major clubs in Turkey, Italy and Spain basically blowing the Hammers out of the water.
Bony was expected to move to Russia in January but a deal has fallen through leaving the 24 year old forward with a choice between England and Italy at the end of the season.
The player’s agent Francis Kacou has revealed that his client has had plenty of offers since January and that it seems Italy is the more likely destination at this stage.
“I have received several offers from clubs in England and Russia, but the boy is more excited about playing in Italy,” Kacou told Voetbal International.
