Holland’s promising youngster Memphis Depay has revealed that he’s aware of Premier League interest, but that he will wait until after the World Cup to make a decision regarding his future.

The 20-year-old winger was one of the stars of the group stage, with his two goals for the Oranje helping them into the last 16.

In recent days Tottenham have been linked with the PSV Eindhoven ace, while both Manchester United and Manchester City are also thought to be circling.

Depay himself is aware of the interest he is attracting, but the starlet says that he will only think about a transfer after the World Cup:

“Of course I’ve read that Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are interested. But no more than that.” He is quoted by the Daily Star.

“I’ll see later. My agent Kees Ploegsma is here [in Brazil] too, but we are not talking about that kind of stuff. That is for after the World Cup.”

Depay is valued at around £20m by his current employers.

United are thought to be frontrunners thanks to the presence of Louis van Gaal, who is currently coaching the Netherlands at the World Cup.
