I believe that the style of football in Germany is most definitely a closer match to Spanish football, the refereeing decisions, The footballing styles, the not overly physical, style of play that is acceptable in Germany is much more in tune with what he knows and can work with. The youth set up I believe is not such a draw for him, I think the fact that Bayern are likely to be playing in the Champions league is a big draw, but also Abramovich has departed with managers like toilet paper, must have been something to think about, particularly as he would have to work with. A squad of players who have a strong allegiance to Mourinho. Having said all of this I think he has made the right choice, and I wish him and Bayern well.
