Jonjo Shelvey has enjoyed a new lease of life since he moved to Swansea from Liverpool in the summer.

The midfielder has impressed the Liberty Stadium faithful with a number of top performances and a few stunning goals to boot.

And he popped up again with a superb strike at his old stomping ground, right in front of the Kop, to pull Swansea back to 2-1 after Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson had given Liverpool a 2-0 lead early on.

But instead of celebrating his goal, Shelvey apologised to the Anfield faithful, while the home crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Nice touch from the Liverpool fans.
