I just wanted to say the League cup match at Swansea was great until the ball boy spoiled it, this detracts from a great win for the Swans and I have looked at the incident closely and I really don’t think Eden Hazard deserved to be sent off, I don’t agree with what he did but I do think the ball boy made a lot more of it than was necessary as a Swansea supporter I can honestly say the whole thing has been blown out of proportion, If the Police take this further it will be very wrong.

I’m with you mate, since when are the Baggies brummies, I think you will find that Villa and Blues are brummies. I also agree that it is great to get the mancs going, they think they own the division. We probably wont stay where we are but why should that minor fact stop us from bigging it up for a while – we don’t get to do this kind of stuff often. It pisses me off that when we beat a team, it’s not because we played well it’s because they were crap.

Not sure what area the black country occupies… Come to mention it I don’t really care either… Not pissed off coz a guaranteed 6 points this year for us whilst we watch you take points off those who will likely be around us at the end of the season so I’m all for you punching above your weight. Actually would be happy if you finished third come to think of it but think that’s a bit of a pipe dream… I also find it hilarious that I have yet to come across a stream of comments with mixed fans where money was not mentioned! You are all obsessed with it or lack of it but good that you keep making up the numbers in this two horse race…. David Silva’s right leg is worth more than the WBA squad…..

How funny! All these brumies getting excited about being 3rd after a whole 13 games LOL… The wheels will come off the bus after Christmas and when the 38th game is played out I see them 7th at best… Two horse race between City & Yoonited and City will take it by 3+ clear points! We would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky rich clubs 

The difference is that the clubs with money will sustain their dominance where as clubs like Everton and West Brom will have their key players that are making the difference taken away so they can balance the books

Well United would win nothing then or Real or Barca.You are confusing an ability to pay with massive debt. Uniteds debts 450 million with interest payments of 80 million a year. Thats what did Rangers and Portsmouth in.

Football was never ever the preserve of the true supporter. Do you propose handing WBA’s riches to Walsall or Kidderminster or some junior club. Of course you don’t. You just see it as a question of any club who has more money and resource than WBA having less. In other words a typical jaundiced one eyed fan. The game has NEVER been a level playing field and the Sky deals are part of the wedge that drives the poorer clubs further and further away from the elite (which includes WBA).

Thanks for all of your comments, chaps.

Personally, I don’t think it’s down to the Premier League being weaker this season, it’s more down to the likes of West Brom being patient, learning from their mistakes and moving forward while using their assets to the best of their ability. More teams should take a look at what they are doing and take note.

Long may their success continue as they’re proving that mega-rich owners aren’t the only way to success.
