GK: Ben Alnwick – Signed from Sunderland in 2007 for a fee of £700,000, Alnwick never really forced himself into the Spurs first team at any point during his career, making his debut against Burnley in the League Cup, only to concede three times in a defeat. His league debut wasn’t much better, conceding four to the Clarets again in a decidedly dodgy performance. He made seven loan switches away from White Hart Lane before making a permanent move to Barnsley, ending a forgettable spell at the club.
