Arsenal and Chelsea may all have to fight off interest from Fiorentina if they are to secure a January deal for Ukrainian winger Yevhen Konoplyanka, according to reports from talkSPORT.

The Premier League quintet have all been linked with the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk ace for some time, with rumours even suggesting that a big money move for the 24-year-old from one English side ended in failure over the summer.

Since then the Eastern European has been continually linked with a switch away from his homeland side, with his agent hinting that the skilful midfielder could be open to a transfer.

The latest team to have joined the battle for Konplyanka are Fiorentina, with the Italians keen to lure him to Serie A.

Scouts from the Florence side have been watching the Dnipro ace of late ahead of a potential move for his signature next month.

Although his club side are far from being short of cash, it is thought that they may consider selling their star man, with the player himself thought to be open to testing himself in a higher standard of league.

Konplyanka has also impressed on the international stage, and was a key member of his country’s World Cup qualification campaign, which ended in a dramatic play-off loss to France.
