Loic Remy looks set to permanently leave Queens Park Rangers this summer, with a host of top-flight clubs interested in his signature,  according to the Daily Express.

A year after loaning the 27-year-old to Newcastle, QPR manager Harry Redknapp appears resigned to the fact he will lose his star Frenchman for good.

Despite winning promotion into the Premier League following their Championship playoff victory, Remy would prefer playing in the Champions League next season, claims Redknapp.

He said: “Loic has done well at Newcastle. It would be difficult to get him back here. I think he’s looking to play Champions League next year.”

That would appear to make Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool the front runners, as Remy appeared comfortable playing in the top-flight this past season, netting 14 goals in 26 matches for Newcastle.

It was reported earlier this week that Arsenal and Liverpool were the frontrunners for Remy, but the striker himself said that Newcastle were also interested in retaining his services full-time. Tottenham is also reportedly keen on signing him.

Daily Mail reported that Remy would be available for approximately £8m,  according to Redknapp.
